Cryophoenix Sorcery

Your tie to the weave comes from the blessing of the cryophoenix, a rare and powerful magical creature. Someone in your family might have made a pact with a cryophoenix for power, or a cryophoenix might have roosted in the kingdom and a fragment of its magical power transferred to you at birth.

Icy Veins

At level 1, you can magically shatter any small object that is frozen.

Additionally, whenever you score a critical hit with a spell that deals cold damage, you gain 1 sorcery point. You cannot gain sorcery points if you are at your maximum.

Origin Spells

Additionally, you gain the following spells at the listed character levels;

Veil of Frost

• Any creature takes cold damage equal to your Constitution modifier if it hits you with a melee attack from within 5 feet of you or if it touches you.
• Whenever you roll cold damage on your turn, the damage roll gains a bonus to equal to your Constitution modifier.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest. You gain additional uses of this feature at levels 7, 14 and 20.

Cryostasis

If you use this feature while under the effects of your Veil of Frost this feature additionaly encases you in ice, making you immune to all damage except fire, and your Veil of Frost immediately ends. At the beggining of your turn, the ice shatters, dealing 10 cold damage to all enemies in a 10 foot radius.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Renovating Cold

Starting at 14th level, when you expend a spell slot to cast a spell dealing cold damage, you regain hit points equal to the slot's level + your Constitution  modifier.

Form of the Cryophoenix

• You have a flying speed of 40 feet and can hover.
• You have resistance to all damage except fire.
• You have Immunity to cold damage.
• If you use your Cryostasis feature, that feature deals an extra 20 cold damage to each creature.
