Druid
Base Class: Druid

The Circle of the Untamed is a group of Druids who revel in the hunt, taking the form of a natural predator, they stalk targets before closing in for a swift kill. There are many reasons to become a member of the Untamed. Some want to protect a verdant glade by patrolling its borders for intruders, while other simply enjoy the thrill of being an apex predator in their environment and taking part in the natural world.

Feral Form

Unlike other Druids who use a variety of forms to adapt to certain situations, a Circle of the Untamed Druid has focused on a specific form that they work to hone. This form may take whatever form you wish, although many Druids of this circle choose to become a panther or a great wolf. Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Wildshape feature to transform into the Feral Form beast.

Note. D&DBeyond does not allow homebrew to link to other homebrew. The bestial forms used by this subclass can be found under homebrew monsters, also published by me. The forms included in this subclass are as follows: Feral Form, Savage Feral Form, Dire Feral Form, Apex Predator.

Ambush Predator

Upon reaching 2nd level, you've honed your ability to blend in with your environment and you can do so extremely efficiently. You may use the Hide action as a bonus action.

Additionally, when using the Wildshape feature to transform into your Feral Form or any of its variants, you may change your coloration to match with the surrounding environment. You may use the Hide action even when only partially obscured if your coloration matches your surroundings.

Shredding Strikes

Starting at 3rd level you may use a bonus action to expend a 1st level spell slot to empower your attacks to bleed targets. For the next minute, when you successfully hit a target with a melee attack they must make a Constitution saving throw against your spell save DC or begin to bleed profusely. If the target of this feature cannot see you at the start of the turn in which you are attacking, they make this saving throw with disadvantage. At the start of each of their turns, the target takes an additional 1d6 slashing damage. This effect can be ended if the target or another creature spends an action to make a DC 14 Medicine check to staunch the bleeding. This effect does not stack but can be applied to multiple targets simultaneously. This feature does not affect targets that cannot bleed.

If you expend a 3rd level spell slot on this feature, the damage this spell does at the start of each of the target's turns becomes 1d8 and the damage becomes magical, being able to affect targets that cannot bleed.

If you expend a 6th level spell slot on this feature, the damage this spell does at the start of each of the target's turns becomes 2d8 and the damage becomes magical, being able to affect targets that cannot bleed. The duration of this feature becomes 1 hour.

If you expend and 8th level spell slot on this feature, the damage this spell does at the start of each of the target's turns becomes 2d12 and the damage becomes magical, being able to affect targets that cannot bleed. The duration of this feature becomes 8 hours. The walking, climbing, swimming and flying movement speed of targets that are bleeding is reduced by 15ft.

Savage Feral Form

Through constant training with the use of your Feral Form,  you have improved your prowess in its use. Starting at 6th level, you may now use the Wildshape feature to transform into the Savage Feral Form. This form replaces Feral Form.

Dire Feral Form

You have learned to further improved your specialized form. Upon reaching 10th level, you now have access to Dire Feral Form when using the Wildshape feature. This form replaces Savage Feral Form.

Apex Predator

You have perfected your specialized form. Starting at 14th level, you are now able to transform into the Apex Predator creature using the Wildshape feature. This form replaces Dire Feral Form.
