Your skills do not come from books or teaching, your skills come from the awesome older guy who came to party with you on the beach that one time. To you the skills of the string have been passed, and the song of the Oasis. The ever-living phrase of your college reside within your mind at all times, 'Today is going to be the day'. Your destiny is foretold as was your forefather before you, you will spread the song of the Oasis far and wide and when you grow old you will take your beer and stringed focus to the bonfire side and pass the tales of your college down to the next.

You have spent many a night by the bonfire strumming the strings and telling tales to your friends. In this time you have acquired skills that make you tantamount to the center piece of any good beach side party.

Tales have been sung of your predecessors in the way of the Oasis, such as the great Chad, who played that one song every chance he got.

 

Wonderwall

The power of the oasis grants you an additional use for your bardic inspiration, your catchy song stays within the minds of your allies and allows them to weave the power of the Oasis into their abilities.

When a creature within 60ft of you deals damage you can use your reaction to roll your bardic inspiration die and add the number rolled to the damage as additional psychic damage, as the catchy tune pierces the enemy’s mind.

Alternatively, you can expend a use of your bardic inspiration as a bonus action to grant a number of creatures equal to your charisma modifier temporary hit points equal to one roll of your bardic inspiration die.

String King

Your innate love of stringed instruments played by the fire side has led to a unique outlook on life.

You gain proficiency in one stringed instrument and one skill of your choice.

Additionally, you learn the cantrip Create Bonfire.

I play the strings

You have become a master of playing a song by the campfire and weaving the great tales of the Oasis.

When you cast a bard spell using a stringed instrument as the focus you can roll a d6 and gain a bonus to one damage or healing roll of the spell equal to the number rolled.
(This die increases to a d8 when you reach level 14)

Unforgettable Music

Your music has become almost unforgettable, when a creature adds one of your Bardic Inspiration dice to its ability check, attack roll, or saving throw and the roll fails, the creature can keep the Bardic Inspiration die.

Today is gonna be the day

When you use your Wonderwall feature you can roll the die twice to determine the extra damage or temporary HP.
