Bard
Base Class: Bard

Tempo is everything to a performance. Choosing a fitting speed for a song, dance, or other creative medium changes the tale told. Students of the College of Momentum are taught that their songs are fast buildups to an intense finish. They perform as such, with swift movement and a burst of magical energy.

Tempo

Starting at the 3rd level, your magic hastens your step. Your walking speed increases by 10 feet, and your movements are not effected by non-magical difficult terrain.

Beat Drop

Starting at the 3rd level, your performances in battle mimic your performances outside: building up to a momentus climax of music. When you cast a spell using spell slots or give an ally Bardic Inspiration, you gain a Beat Drop Die. Beat Drop Dice are dice equal to the current value of your Bardic Inspiration dice. You may only gain one Beat Drop Die per turn. You can have a number of Beat Drop equal to your Charisma Modifier (minimum of 1) stored at one given time, and all Beat Drop Dice disappear after a minute of not taking any actions that would give a Beat Drop Die.

While you have any number of Beat Drop Dice, when an ally within 30 feet of you deals damage with a spell or weapon attack roll, you can expend your reaction to roll one Beat Drop Die and add it to the damage roll. The damage from Beat Drop is force. That target also must make a Strength Saving Throw or be pushed back 10 feet and knocked prone. You can expend a number of Beat Drop Dice equal to your Charisma modifier, and you regain uses of Beat Drop upon completing a long rest. Finally, at 6th level, you can add up to two Beat Drop Dice to an attack, and at the 14th level, you can add up to three Beat Drop Dice.

Momentous Melody

Starting at the 6th level, your performance inspires your allies with the same speed you carry. You can now use Countercharm as a bonus action as well as an action (though you can only use it once per turn). When you use Countercharm, allies within 60 feet of you get the benefits of Countercharm, as well as an increase to their walking speed by 10 feet. Using Momentous Melody also gives a Beat Drop die.

Encore

Starting at the 14th level, your climactic ends to your songs become infectious, spreading beyond the initial target. When Beat Drop is activated, targets in a 30 foot cone aimed at the nearest enemy also take the Beat Drop force damage and must also make the Strength Saving Throw. In addition, you can now store and use a number of Beat Drop Dice equal to twice your Charisma Modifier (minimum of 2)
