Death is not a new concept to you. All your life you have walked beside the shadow of death, bringing unrivaled lethality to the field of battle and to any foe who would cross you. The Deathless Wardens are warriors who have been to the brink of death only to have survived and bring back with them terrifying abilities and a weapon from death it self. 

Reaping Scythe

3rd-level Deathless Warden feature

You can manifest your necrotic powers as a dark ghostly scythe of necrotic energy. Whenever you take the Attack action, you can manifest your reaping scythe from your free hands and make the attack with that scythe. This magic scythe is a martial melee weapon with the two-handed property. On a hit, it deals necrotic damage equal to 2d4 plus your strength or constitution modifier.

Grave Touch

3rd-level Deathless Warden feature

Your powers over death allows you to bring forth the shadow of death to terrify your opponents. After you hit a creature with an attack you can use your bonus action to force the target to make a wisdom saving throw against a DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your constitution modifier. If the save fails, the target become frightened of you until the end of your next turn. When you hit a frightened target with a weapon attack, they take additional necrotic damage equal to your proficiency modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus. You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Undying Sentinel

7th-level Deathless Warden feature

Your connection to the dead has grown to the point were you gain resistance to necrotic damage and you don’t need to eat, drink, or breathe. Also, you don’t need to sleep, and magic can’t put you to sleep. To gain the benefits of a long rest, you can spend all 8 hours doing light activity, such as keeping watch.

Additionally, undead now have difficulty harming you. Undead creatures have disadvantage on attack rolls against you.

Soul Scythian

10th-level Deathless Warden feature

Over your journeys you have slain many souls using your Reaping Scythe to the point were the weapon has been enhance by the souls it’s stolen. The number of your Reaping Scythe’s damage die increases to 3d4 and the scythe gains a reach of 10ft. The scythes damage now also ignores a creature’s resistance to necrotic damage, allowing them to take the full damage from the scythe.

Additionally, when a frightened creature begins their turn within 10ft of you, they must make a constitution saving throw against the same DC as your Grave Touch ability. On a failed save, the frightened creature’s speed is reduced to zero, as they become paralyzed with fear.

Dark Thirst

15th-level Deathless Warden feature

Your Reaping Scythe is now capable of stealing the life force of your foes to heal you. When you hit a target that is not undead or a construct with your scythe, you regain hit points equal to 1d6.

Additionally, you now gain advantage on attack rolls against creatures who are frightened.

Death Scythe

18th-level Deathless Warden feature

Your connection with death and you ability to cause death is matched by few. The damage your Reaping Scythe deals is now increased to 4d4. When you make the attack action, you can choose to strike at two creatures simultaneously who are 5ft from one another instead of one. You must make separate attack rolls for each creature.

Your lethal powers have also grown to the point were you can bring death to those who are frightened of you. As an action, you can force a creature who is frightened of you to make a constitution saving throw against the same DC as your Grave Touch ability. If it fails, the target is reduced to 0 hit points. You can use this feature a number of times equal you your constitution modifier (minimum of once), and you regain all expended uses of this ability after a long rest.
