Base Class: Rogue
Duelists focus on form, accuracy, and single combat. Most duelists fight for sport, but those who are adventurers are deadly adversaries.
Dueling
Starting at third level, you know the basics of dueling. You can use your sneak attack against a target if there are no other creatures adjacent to you or the target. Additionally, you gain a +2 bonus to attack rolls if you are wielding a one-handed weapon that deals piercing damage in one hand and no other weapons.
Keen Defense
Starting at ninth level, you keep defense a priority in your duels. You gain a +2 bonus to AC while you wield a one-handed weapon in one hand and no other weapons.
Upset Balance
You execute a quick move that throws the opponent off balance. Starting at thirteenth level, whenever you hit with your sneak attack, you can use your reaction to force the target to make a Dexterity saving throw. The DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Dexterity modifier. If they fail, they have disadvantage on their next attack, and the next attack against them has advantage.
Pinpoint Strike
Starting at seventeenth level, you can strike with perfect accuracy. When you miss with an attack that would benefit from your sneak attack, you can use your reaction to turn the miss into a hit. You regain the ability to do this when you finish a long rest.
