Base Class: Sorcerer
You have tapped into the very nature of the Fade, and can draw on the Veil's power in a more direct way than other mages.
Veilstrike
At 1st level, you have learned one of the simplest applications of rift magic: creating an enormous replica of your own fist from the matter of the Ethereal Plane. As an action, you can perform a Veilstrike against any creature within 60 feet. Make a ranged spell attack; if it hits, you deal 1d12 force damage to that creature.
This damage increases to 2d12 at 5th level, 3d12 at 11th level, and 4d12 at 16th level.
Smothering Veil
At 6th level, you have learned to twist the Ethereal Plane around your foes, slowing their movements and reducing the effectiveness of their attacks. As an action, you can spend a spell slot of 2nd level or higher to create a Smothering Veil, a 20-foot diameter effect centered on any point within 60 feet of you. All creatures within that radius have disadvantage on all non-spell attacks. The Veil requires you maintain concentration on it as though it were a spell with a duration of concentration, and it lasts for 1 minute or until you lose concentration.
Twisting Veil
At 14th level, your Veil pulls energy from those caught within it, empowering your spells. Whenever you cast a spell that deals damage while your Smothering Veil feature is active, that spell deals additional damage equal to twice the number of creatures affected by your Veil. If the spell targets a creature within the veil, it deals additional damage equal to six times the number of creatures caught in your Veil instead, but immediately after dealing damage, your Veil ends. This bonus damage dealt is force damage.
Pull of the Abyss
At 18th level, you can create a tiny rift to the Fade, violently pulling creatures towards it. As a Bonus Action, you may choose a point within 60 feet of you, and all creatures within 20 feet of that point are immediately pulled to it. If a creature would enter an occupied space (either by a player or object) as a result of this effect, it instead moves to the unoccupied space closest to the center of the effect, and takes a number of d10s of bludgeoning damage equal to twice the number of spaces between it and the center of the effect. You may use this ability an amount of times equal to your Charisma modifier. You restore all uses of this ability after a short or long rest.
