Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Platinum Oath of Bahamut is a very sacred oath between oneself and the platinum dragon himself. Paladins of this oath forge a covenant in which they aspire to be the protectors and honor themselves as "Good Dragons". In exchange for willing to give themelves to his cause Bahamut is known to impart some of his power, and even rumored to let a few of his champions become a platinum dragon themselves.

Tenants of the Platinum Dragon

The draconic protector, Bahamut ensures all paladins following his cause uphold these very commandments.

The Platinum Scale: You are given great draconic power not to hoard for your own but to serve and protect others. You are not just a sword but a shield to others.

The Radiant Bite: Slay the enemies of Bahamut and yourself with the ferocity of a dragon. Those who follow evil and selfish ways shall feel the might of The Great Dragon through you and lay quivering in fear even in death.

Metallic Mentality: Never hesitate to take actions against those who have done wrong but always allow mercy for those willing to change their ways. Treat others with fairness even though they might not have with you.

Channel Divinity

When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Platinum Protection - As a bonus action you call forth the protective armor of the platinum dragon to help guard yourself or a chosen ally. This ability increases the AC of the chosen target by 2+(your CHA modifier) for an amount of turns equal to your highest level spell splot available to you as a Paladin

Bahamut's Smite - You call forth the radiant power of Bahamut to imbue your ranged weapons with holy power. Now when you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack, you can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the weapon’s damage. The extra damage is 2d8 for a 1st-level spell slot, plus 1d8 for each spell level higher than 1st, to a maximum of 5d8. The damage increases by 1d8 if the target is an undead or a fiend, to a maximum of 6d8. You can imbue your ranged weapon with Smite an amount of times equal to your charisma modifier.
