Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

Your patron is a Leprechaun. Trickster fey that are notoriously hard to catch, but rumored to bestow vast riches to those who manage. You are one such individual, but instead of vast wealth, the Leprechaun made you an offer. Make a pact with it to let it go, and in return, it would gift you with a measure of it's power to use as you see fit. Thinking this was a better deal than mere material wealth, you took the offer. Only later did you consider the pact might have been a ruse, and the trick is still to come...

Bonus Cantrips:

At 1st level, you learn the Dancing Lights and Minor Illusion cantrips. They count as warlock cantrips for you, but they don't count against your number of cantrips known.

Expanded Spell List

The Leprechaun lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.

Leprechaun Expanded Spells
Spell Level - Spells

  1. Color Spray, Disguise Self
  2. Alter Self, Phantasmal Force
  3. Blink, Nondetection
  4. Greater Invisibility, Polymorph
  5. Mislead, Modify Memory

Pot of Gold

At 1st level, your patron grants you access to a magical pot for holding your money and valuable treasure items. The pot takes up a 5ft cube of space and has no lid.

As a bonus action, you can summon this pot to an empty space within 5 feet of you, or dismiss it to a pocket dimension. The pot can hold up to 500 pounds of treasure, but will only hold money, gemstones (including pearls), and items that have gemstones embedded into them. Anything else in the pot when it is dismissed to the pocket dimension is harmlessly expelled and left on the ground in the space where the pot was.

Escape Artist

At 6th level, your Patron has taught you some of it's secrets to escaping capture. You gain advantage on saving throws and ability checks against abilities and effects that would cause you to be Grappled, Prone, or Restrained.

Ride the Rainbow

At 10th level, your patron reveals how to create a magical rainbow that you can use as transportation. You can use an Action to create a magical rainbow in a line 5 feet wide from an empty space within 5 feet of you, to a location you can see within 60 feet. The rainbow emits bright colorful light for 15-feet, and dim light for 15-feet beyond that. If you step into the rainbow at either end, you are magically teleported to the opposite end.

The rainbow persists for 1 minute or until you use this feature again. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier. You regain all expended uses after a short or long rest.

Gambit for Power

Your patron agrees to share some of it's expertise with the school of Illusion magic - for a price.

Beginning at 14th level, you may use an action to entreat your patron for help casting a spell. Roll a d20 and multiply the result by your character level. If your Pot of Gold contains at least that much money, your patron collects that amount from your Pot of Gold wherever it is, and grants your request, otherwise you expend the use of this feature, but your patron denies your request. Choose one Illusion spell from any class that is of a level you can cast. For the price paid, your patron's power allows you to cast that spell without the material or somatic components usually required as part of the action used for this feature.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until the next dawn.
