Force Lord

Some wizards focus on one school of magic, others on the balance between two aspects of magic or two aspects of life.  Force Lords have decided to focus on the one constant of magic, that of force.  Force is pure magical energy focused to a single task.  Force Lords revel in the raw nature of the powers that they harness and find ways to augment these skills.

Minor Manifestation

The eldritch blast cantrip is the simplest form of force manipulation.  At 2nd level, You gain this cantrip as a bonus cantrip and it counts as a wizard cantrip for you.

Force Ward

At 2nd level you can manifest a bubble of force that takes damage for you.  This grants you temporary hit points equal to 3 times you wizard level plus your intelligence modifier.  When you deal force damage to an enemy it recharges previously lost temporary hit points up to it’s starting maximum.  Each instance of force damage recharges a number of points equal to 1/2 the damage dealt.  This Force Ward lasts until your next long rest.

Force Talented

Starting at 6th level, your force damage attacks deal additional force damage equal to your intelligence modifier.  This additional damage Is applied to all instances of force damage.

Improved Mage Armor

At 10th level you can add your proficiency bonus to your armor class and saving throws when you have mage armor active and are not wearing a shield.  In addition, your mage armor lasts for a full 24 hours on a single cast.

Improved Shield

At 10th level you can add +5 to your saving throws when you cast the shield spell.  This is in addition to the shield spell armor class bonuses.  In addition, you can trigger the reaction when you are targeted by a spell in addition to the normal triggers.

Force Platform

Starting at 14th level, you can create a Force Platform that is 5’ in diameter.  This platform, similar to a Floating Disk spell is different in a few significant ways.  It’s size starts at 5’ diameter, but you can increase/decrease it’s size with concentration (each 5’ diameter change takes 1 action).  Once the platform has been increased or decreased in size it no longer requires concentration.  The maximum size is a diameter equal to your wizard level times 2 rounding is per your DMs discretion (ie. A 14th level caster can make a 28’ diameter disk).  No matter it’s size, it has a fly speed of 60’ and can hover. It does not have the elevation limitations of Floating Disk.  The Force Platform is controlled by the Force Lord and can only fly when he is on it (it requires no more thought than walking).  The Force Platform can carry 600 pounds per 5’ square.  The Force Platform can be summoned or dismissed at will as an action.  Due to it’s intimate bond to the Force Lord it cannot be dispelled by anyone other than the Force Lord.
