Base Class: Barbarian
Strength Over All. To a Path of the Mighty barbarian, strength is the most important thing in life, whether that be strength of the body, strength of the mind, or strength of the soul. Material possessions and emotional connections are secondary compared to the betterment of their own capabilities. However, this does not mean having a complete disconnect from others, as it is clear to all that there is strength in numbers. In order to strengthen all aspects of themselves, they must find a balance of actions in their lives.
No Limits. Many barbarians who follow this path endure rigorous training to push past their natural limitations. This training could have been physical conditioning, meditation, praying to a certain god, or it could have even been as simple as being born with higher capabilities than others of their kind. However, limitations are meant to protect, and when they are broken, have consequences. When surpassing their limits, Path of the Mighty barbarians often push too far and injure themselves in the name of power, tearing their muscles and breaking their souls.
Strength of Body
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can push your body past its normal limits through sheer willpower. Upon entering rage, you can choose to increase your strength past what you are normally capable of. For the duration of your rage, you can add your rage damage modifier twice instead of once to any melee attack. Additionally, whenever you make a successful melee attack, the target must make a Strength saving throw equal to 10 + your Strength modifier. On a failed save, the target is pushed 5 feet back. When your rage ends, you must make a Constitution saving throw where the DC is 8 + 2 for every round that your rage was active. On a failed save, you take necrotic damage equal to your barbarian level, and this damage cannot be resisted. You can use this feature once per rage.
At 14th level, you can add your rage damage modifier three times, and attacks push enemies 10 feet back.
Strength of Mind
Starting at 6th level, your mind has become strengthened alongside your body. You gain proficiency in one saving throw of your choice between Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma. In addition, you gain proficiency in two skills of your choice that use the ability score chosen for your saving throw proficiency.
Strength of Spirit
Beginning at 10th level, the strength you possess within yourself sometimes surpasses that of magic used against you. For the duration of your rage, you can use your reaction to automatically succeed on a saving throw against a spell or magical effect. You can use this feature a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus rounded down. You recover all expended uses on a long rest.
Strength of a Thousand Men
Starting at 14th level, your power can overwhelm anyone and anything. On your turn while raging, instead of taking any actions or bonus actions, you can choose to spend your turn breaking your own limitations and increasing your power. Using this ability does not end your rage early. You gain a temporary +6 bonus to one ability score of your choice between Strength, Dexterity, or Constitution. This bonus lasts for 1 minute, and after a minute passes, you lose this bonus and gain 2 levels of exhaustion. You can use this feature once per long rest.
