Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Unlike other mages who focus on specific fields of the arcane, like Divination or Evocation, 
you master the rudimentary form of the arcane arts and its connection to the weave.
You learn how to read, pull and alter the strings within the weave making yourself master over it.

2nd-level Weavers feature

As a Reaction, you can trace a spell, to which you have the minimum required level of spellslot, casted with 60 ft of you since your last turn.  
You remember that spell and can cast it once within the next hour.

  • The spell can be at any level from it's base level or any higher spellslot.
  • You copy the basic spell and not any additional effects from class features.
    (like damage types changed)

Any spell you are holding onto when you go unconcious is lost.
You can use this feature once per long rest.

Arcane perception

2nd-level Weavers feature

As a bonus action you can use this feature to activate a visual prowess to perceive the presence of magic within 30 feet of you.

  • If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area
    that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any.
  • You can also for the duration ascertain any spell cast within the last hour.
    if you are familiar with the caster, you can recognise their arcane signature with an Intelligence saving throw DC= 8+Character level/2 .

The visual prowess can penetrate most barriers, but it is blocked by 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal, a thin sheet of lead, or 3 feet of wood or dirt.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

 

Manapulation

6th-level Weavers feature

When you use your Arcane Recovery feature during a short rest,
You can also invoke this feature to Split a single of your remaining spellslots
into two spellslot of which the sum is equal to the spellslot used.
**this can never result into you having more spellslots of a certain level than you have after a long rest**

You can use this feature once, and you regain your use when you finish a long rest.

 At 10th level this feature goes from taking a short rest to becoming a 10 minute ritual.
and at 20th level it only takes a full round (Action+Bonus Action+Movement+reaction) and you can't do anything else for that round.

Kompology

10th-level Weavers feature

Extending your control and mastery over the weave, you grasp the mystical strings of the arcane magic being cast around you and redirect their course to bend them to your will.

As a Reaction, if within 30ft. of you anyone is targeted by a spell you can manipulate the spells with one of the following effects.

  • If the spell has an attackroll and a single target, you can make an intelligence saving throw. If you beat the DC of 8+The spell's level.
    If you succeed on the saving throw you are able to redirect the spells trajectory to a target that is adjacent (within 5ft) of the original target and they take half the original damage.
  • If the spell requires the target to make a saving throw, they can add your intelligence modifier to said saving throw.
  • If another character casts a spell with an attack roll and missed, you can let them add your intelligence modifier.

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

Master Weaver

14th-level Weavers feature

Master Weaver: Arcane Perception

Your connection to the Arcane Weave has become so profound that your Arcane Perception has become permenant up to 60ft..

  • If you sense magic in this way, you can use your action to see a faint aura around any visible creature or object in the area
    that bears magic, and you learn its school of magic, if any.
  • You can also for the duration ascertain any spell cast within the last hour.
    if you are familiar with the caster, you can recognise their arcane signature with an Intelligence saving throw DC= 8+Character level/2 .

Master Weaver: Advanced Manapulation

In addition your manipulation of your Arcane reserves has become so expansive that
as a 10-minute Ritual you can now also combine 2 spellslots of the same level
into a single spellslot that is one level higher than the Spellslots used.
**this can never result into you having more spellslots of a certain level than you have after a long rest**

You can use this feature once, and you regain your use when you finish a long rest.

 At 20th level this feature goes from taking a 10-minute to becoming only a full round
(Action+Bonus Action+Movement+reaction) and you can't do anything else for that round.
