Base Class: Sorcerer
Among the different kinds of sorcerers, the Cryomancers are considered one of the most feared. For their presence brings despair and grieving as many who meet these individuals see them as a bad omen of famine and strife. For one that carries the icy touch of death often makes use of it for that purpose.
The very touch of the Cryomancer extinguishes the spark of some weaker creatures and wildlife. Those who do survive it still often remember the chilling grasp of death emitting from the cold stare of the Cryomancer.
Your power comes from the domain of Ulutiu, the Lord of Ice. However, some of the Cryomancers also draw their power from the Frostmaiden: Auril. Each of these deities grant you power of ice and allow you to manipulate it as needed. Whether you use it to aid your fellow comrades or bring the land to a freezing hellscape is all up to you…

Cryo Infusion
Your body has been infused with the essence of Ice from Ulutiu or Auril. This grants you resistance to cold damage.
Additionally, when you reach 3rd level in this class, you gain a special metamagic option depending on your alignment. (This does not affect the total of metamagic options you may choose from) (If you are a Neutral Alignment, you may only choose one or the other, but not both. The choice you make will affect the Harbinger form you will be able to choose at level 18. Once you choose an option, it may not be exchanged)
Piercing Ice
Ulutiu: (Any Neutral or Good alignment): Piercing Ice: You may use 2 sorcery points to empower your spell to overcome resistance.
Searing Ice
Auril: (Any Neutral or Evil Alignment): Searing Ice: You may use 2 sorcery points to empower your spell to deal an additional half of the total damage as cold damage.
Ice Magic
Starting at level 1, your magic is affected by your chilling touch. Any spells that deal cold damage also deal an additional 3 cold damage. Also, any spells you cast that deal fire damage now deal cold damage instead as it becomes a pale blue ice cold flame instead of the normal color of fire.
Additionally, you are able to cast ray of frost as a bonus action using 1 sorcery point.
Heart of Ice
Your very touch has become infused with ice. At level 6, you may make a melee spell attack against a target and freeze the interior of the targets body fluids dealing 2d10 cold damage and slowing them by half their movement speed for one round.
Also, you can release a sudden gust of freezing wind around a 20 by 20 feet in a sphere around the player.
- The area around is turned into difficult terrain as ice covers the ground.
- This lasts for 5 minutes or until the ice is melted by magical fire.
- Extinguishes any non-magical fire within the area.
- Any liquid that is able to be frozen becomes solid ice. Anyone in the area must make a Constitution save against your spell save or lose half of their movement speed until they are out of the area.
- If a creature failed the first Constitution save, it must make another one on its turn. On success, no further effects occur. On fail it takes 2d8 cold damage for each turn it is in the area of ice.
You may use this once per long rest.
Cryostatis
Your connection with the deities of ice has become very powerful. Your control over of cryomancy has only grown more powerful and you are able to solidify creatures in solid ice at the near blink of an eye. At level 14, when you create solid ice or freeze something into solid ice, it lasts the full duration and cannot be melted by any means unless you are dispelling it.
You can also release a powerful icy chill directed at a creature within 15 feet of you. The creature must make a Constitution Save against your spell save. On fail, the creature takes 4d10 of cold damage and is frozen solid for 1 minute. On success, the creature takes half the damage and is not frozen. In order for the creature to be frozen, their size must be large or smaller
If frozen, the following apply to the frozen creature.
- They are considered petrified for status conditions.
- The creature is unable to be hit as it the thickness of the ice prevents it.
- Thunder Damage does double damage to the target but destroys the ice. If the creature is killed while in the ice, it shatters into pieces.
You may use this feature once per long rest.

You now have immunity to cold damage and also resistance to fire damage.
You may now unleash your Harbinger Form to destroy your foes for 1 minute. This form effect and style depending on your deity you draw power from. Posted Nov 29, 2021This is massively OP compared to other versions--especially the wings; they kind of seem out of nowhere?
