Base Class: Bard
Bards of the College of Concerts are used to being the center of attention. In fact, they love having all eyes on them, thriving within the spotlight. Whether they do it for the love of performing, for honest coin, or as a charlatan, they are all categorized by this characteristic.
These bards are the typical minstrels in taverns surrounded by their patrons. They love their patrons and all other people because, without them, there is no one to give them the attention they strive for.
Bonus Proficiency
When you join the College of Concerts at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with one Charisma skill of your choice.
Beguiling Tunes
Also at 3rd level, your magical music can allure even the toughest creatures. As a reaction, when a creature you can see within 60 feet of you moves at least 15 feet, you can expend a use of Bardic Inspiration. They must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your bard spell save DC or be charmed until the end of their next turn. They must also spend the rest of their movement moving towards you. The creature doesn’t move into obviously dangerous ground, such as a fire or a pit. A creature that cannot hear you or is immuned to being charmed automatically succeeds the saving throw.
The target of this feature and any creatures who observe the effects of this feature can make an Intelligence (Arcana) ability check against your bard spell save DC to know that you magically charmed them. Otherwise, they believe that the target chose to walk towards you.
Captivating Song
At 6th level, you are able to sing or play a song so melodic that it magically grabs the attention of its listeners, hearable from 30 feet away. As an action, you can play this song until the beginning of your next turn. All creatures within range must suceed on a Wisdom saving throw against your bard spell save DC or be charmed by you for the duration. While a target is charmed in this way, creatures others than you are considered to be lightly obscured to the target. A creature that cannot hear you or is immuned to being charmed automatically suceeds the saving throw. The song ends early if you are incapacitated or silenced or if you voluntarily end it (no action required). Once this feature is used once, it cannot be used again until you finish a short or long rest.
The targets of this feature and any creatures who observe the effects of this feature can make an Intelligence (Arcana) ability check against your bard spell save DC to know that you magically charmed them. Otherwise, they believe that the target chose to focus on you.
Distracting Performance
Starting at 14th level, you can use an action to perform a taunting dance that enrages hostile creatures. The dance lasts until the beginning of your next turn, unless you take your subsequent actions to use this feature again, extending the duration to 1 minute.
All hostile creatures within 30 feet must make a Wisdom saving throw against you bard spell save DC or be enraged by you. While enraged, they must spend their turn moving toward and attacking you. They may use the Dash action to move closer to you if they are not in range to attack you. The creature automatically suceeds the saving throw if it cannot see you or is immuned to being charmed. Any creature that failed its saving throw can reroll it at the end of their following turns, ending the effects on a success. The dance ends early if your speed is reduced to 0 by any means or if you voluntarily end it (no action required). Once you use this feature once, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
While performing this dance, you are exceptionally nimble, granting a +5 bonus to your AC for the duration. You can also gain a +2 bonus to your AC by expending uses of Bardic Inspiration at a rate of +2 for every use of Bardic Inspiration expended in this way. You also gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws for the duration.
The targets of this feature and any creatures who observe the effects of this feature can make an Intelligence (Arcana) ability check against your bard spell save DC to know that you magically enraged them. Otherwise, they believe that the target chose to attack you.
