Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Countless cultures throughout history have inspired warriors with various forms of battle dance. Frenetic, stomping movements, elegant, choreographed blade flourishes, hundreds of variations of dance with the express purpose of inspiring warriors into a frenzy of battle have permeated history.

Barbarians that make use of these war dances serve as leaders for their parties, bolstering their allies' resolve with their traditional movements. Standing at the forefront of battle, War Dancer Barbarians prepare to enter the battle with vigor and excitement.

War Dance

3rd-Level Path of the War Dancer feature

You are a master of a traditional style of war dance. On your turn, when you enter a rage, you perform this traditional war dance. Allies within 30 feet of you when the dance is performed gain temporary hit points equal to 1d12 + your Charisma modifier, and are immune to the frightened condition. Any allies afflicted with the frightened condition are cured of it when you perform the dance.

The temporary hit points gained with this feature become 2d12 at 6th level, 3d12 at 10th level, and 4d12 at 14th level.

Morale Increase

6th-Level Path of the War Dancer feature

The inspiration provided by your war dance has been strengthened, allowing you to empower your allies with the ability to shrug off certain types of damage. When you enter a rage, in addition to the temporary hit points provided by your War Dance, all allies within 30 feet of you gain resistance to a damage type of your choice until your rage ends.

Battle Step

10th-Level Path of the War Dancer feature

Your mastery of the frenetic choreography of your battle dance has rendered you considerably more difficult to hit on the battlefield. While you are raging, you can take the Dodge action as a bonus action. You cannot do this if you have used your Reckless Attack this turn.

Stomp Finale

14th-Level Path of the War Dancer feature

You have mastered your war dance to such a masterful extent, that you can weave an extra strike into the frenetic combat style granted by the war dance. If you use your Reckless Attack on your turn while you are raging, you can attack three times, instead of twice, when you take the Attack action on your turn.
