Deceptive
At 3rd level, you gain advantage on Deception (Charisma) checks and the ability to manipulate the movements and vitality of others through the use of your strings. You gain the following two options for your Strings. You can use this feature up to an a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of once), resetting on a long rest:
Deceptive: Forceful strings
You can expend a use of Deceptive to send out magical strings from a music instrument held in your hands with which you are proficient to a creature within 60 feet of you, using a bonus action. That creature must succeed a Strength saving throw against your Bard spell save DC or be moved 15 feet in a horizontal direction of your choice. Your string detaches after the attempt.
Deceptive: Vampiric strings
Capturing strings
At 6th level, you can send out strings to one creature within 30 feet of you, using a bonus action. You can only have one of these strings active at a time. This target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your bard spell save DC or be captured by your strings for one minute or until it passes the save. While a creature is captured in this way it is restrained. A captured creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns ending the effect on a success. You can create a number of these strings equal to half your Charisma modifier rounded up and regain all expended uses on a long rest.
Lazy strings
At 6th level, if you target a medium or smaller object with this you can control it as if you were using your hands. You may move it up to 30 feet in any direction if it is not attached to anything, or being worn or carried. The object can weigh up to 100lbs. You can only have one such string active at a time.
master puppeteer
At reaching level 14 you gain the ability to, as an action, send out strings you use to control one creature of your choice within 30 feet of you. The target has to make a Constitution saving throw or be captured by your strings for 1 minute or until it succeeds a saving throw. While captured, the creature is completely physically immobilized. - It's speed becomes 0. - It automatically fails Strength and Dexterity saving throws. - Attacks made against the creature have advantage. - It can make no significant physical motions whilst immobilized in this way, including the formation of somatic components. You may use your action to physically manipulate the immobilized target. This, among other ideas, could cause the target to make an attack roll, move an object, walk where you desire, and so on. The target can repeat the saving throw when it takes damage and at the end of each of it's turns, ending the effects on a successful save. This ability can be used once per long rest.
