These orbs remind us of many things: the heavenly spheres above us, the globe we walk upon, and the souls within us. They are a balance of the outward pushing discord and the tension of harmony that holds us together.

Orbs of the Path
At third level, you have awakened to the secrets of the energies of heaven and earth.
Around you hover 3 orbs made of wood, metal, or stone.
At 6th level you have 5 orbs, at 11th level you have 7 orbs, at 17th level 9 orbs.
Orb of Discord
Starting at 3rd level, as an attack action, you may fling one of the orbs around you at a target creature within 30 feet, treat this as an unarmed strike. You may only use this feature if there is at least one orb around you. As a bonus action, you may recall any number of orbs.
Orb of Heaven
Starting at 6th level, you learn how to fill your orbs with yang ki. As an action you may expend 1 ki point to fill one of your orbs with yang ki and assign it to follow a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The orb follows the creature around and reduces its AC by 1. The orb returns to you fi you end your turn more than 60 feet away from the creature.
Orb of Earth
Starting at 6th level, you learn how to fill your orbs with yin ki. As an action you may expend 1 ki point to fill one of your orbs yin ki and assign it to follow a creature you can see within 30 feet. The orb follows the creature around and at the beginning of each of your turns the creature gains temporary hit points equal to the maximum roll of your martial arts die.
Orb of Harmony
Starting at 11th level, you learn how to balance the energies of yin and yang ki inside your orbs. You may expend 2 ki points to increase the range of your Orbs of Discord to 100 feet for one minute.
Transcendence
Starting at 17th level, you are able to balance the energies of heaven and earth within your body, becoming nearly invulnerable for a short time. For 18 seconds, you are immune to all damage and conditions, have advantage on all saving throws, hover 5 feet off the ground instead of walking, and shed bright light for 30 feet and dim light 30 feet beyond that. You may do this a number of times equal to half your proficiency bonus times per short or long rest.
