Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Fireballs erupting over a hoard of goblins. Dimensional rifts splitting open for creatures from another plane to step through. Massive meteors cascading from the sky onto a bloodstained battlefield. Powerful magic can leave a great impact on those that use it and the world around them, but sometimes those that use it leave a powerful impact on magic. When a mage loved by magic passes on, a piece of their will becomes imprinted on magic itself. That magic resonates within you, and flows through you, granting you pieces of power and bits memory left behind from that kindred spirit. As magic loved its former user, it now loves you and will aid, teach, and protect you forever more.

Imprinted Hobbies

At 1st level, you find yourself particularly good at something you have seemingly never even tried before. You gain an added proficiency in a skill or a tool.

Arcane Deflection

Starting at 1st level, you learn the Shield spell, which doesn't count against your number of sorcerer spells known. In addition, you can cast it by spending 2 sorcery points or by expending a spell slot. If you cast it with sorcery points, you gain an additional +2 bonus to your AC.

Spell Nostalgia

At 6th level you gain the ability to channel magic your kindred spirit used to know. As an action, you can spend a number of sorcery points equal to the spell's level to cast any spell in the sorcerer spell list that you do not currently know and is at a level you are able to cast.

Old Favorite

At 14th level you remember a spell favored by your inherited soul. Choose a spell 4th level or lower in the Sorcerer Spell List. Twice per long rest you can cast this spell without expending a spell slot.

Arcane Aura

At level 18 you can spend 6 sorcery points as a bonus action to call magic to your aid. For 1 minute, an aura of magic envelops you, boosting your strength, defense, and stamina. You gain advantage on all spell attacks, 1d6 + your Charisma modifier force damage added to spell attack damage, +2 AC, and temporary hit points equal to 6d6 + your Charisma modifier.
