Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

In a world of magic and monsters, those who still fight with sword and spear need every advantage they can get.  Some choose to actively counter and suppress enemy magic users, as the followers of the Path of the Spellbreaker do.

Magical Resilience

When you choose this subclass at 3rd level, you gain resistance to magic—you have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.  Also, you gain proficiency in the Arcana skill.  In addition, your rage does not end early if a hostile creature has cast a spell since the end of your last turn, even if you have not attacked a hostile creature or taken damage since then.  (It still ends early if you are knocked unconscious.)

Magical Strikes

Starting at 6th level, your attacks are considered magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.  Also, when you hit with a weapon attack, you can end one spell or magical effect on the target.  In addition, when you make a ranged attack with a weapon, you can return that weapon to your hand.

Mage Killer

Starting at 10th level, you have resistance to all damage except psychic damage while you are raging.  Also, when a hostile creature you can see casts a spell, you can use your reaction to move up to your speed closer to that creature.  You can make one attack against that creature if it is within the reach (or range) of your weapon after you move.

Full Counter

Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to turn your enemies’ spells back on them.  When you are targeted or affected by a spell that deals damage, you can use your reaction to reflect that spell back at the caster.  Make an Arcana check with a DC equal to 10 plus the level of the spell—on a success, that spell has no effect on the original target(s) and instead targets or affects the creature that cast it, using that creature’s save DC or the original attack roll made when the spell was cast.
