Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians who take up the power of dragons are called Dragoneyes. These Barbarians harness their rage from a Draconic influence - be it a special Dragonmark, a Draconic bloodline, or similar. In combat, Dragoneyes channel the dragon within to create impressive and destructive spectacles of their rage.

Draconic Influence

When you first take up this path at 3rd level, you gain the following benefits:

  • If you can't already, you learn to speak, read, and write Draconic.
  • You gain darkvision out to a range of 60 feet. If you already have darkvision from your race, its range increases by 30 feet.
  • As an bonus action, you may give yourself advantage on a Charisma (Intimidation) check. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all uses after finishing a long rest

Dragon's Fury

Starting at 3rd level, your inner dragon smiles down upon you whenever you rage.

  • When you first enter rage, you may exhude a loud and fearsome roar. Each creature of your choice that you can see within 20 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw. Your saving throw DC is equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier. On a failed save, the creature becomes frightened of you for 1 minute. If the creature is more than 20 feet away from you, it can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Creatures who succeed against your saving throw DC are immune to this effect for the next 24 hours.
  • Additionally, choose a damage type: acid, cold, fire, lightning, or poison. You gain resistance to that damage type while raging as scales grow on your body.

Draconic-fueled Attacks

Starting at 6th level, you imbue your attacks with draconic energy.

As a bonus action, you can instill elemental fury into the weapon you are holding. For the duration of your rage, it deals an extra 1d6 damage of the type you chose to gain resistance against for Dragon's Fury.

Wing Beat

Starting at 10th level, you can manifest a pair of dragon wings and use them to thwart your foes.

  • As part of an attack, you may sprout your wings and beat them. All creatures within a 10-foot cone of you must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or take 1d8 bludgeoning damage and be knocked prone. After using this attack, you may use the rest of your movement to fly, if you have any left.

Dragon's Pride

Starting at 14th level, your Draconic power grows in strength.

  • Once per turn, if you use Reckless Attack on a creature that is frightened by you and score a hit, it counts as a critical hit.
  • As an action, you may roar a second time while raging. Doing so ignores the frightened immunity of creatures who originally succeeded against your saving throw DC. You may only use this once per rage.
  • Your wings are now eligible to use Draconic-fueled Attacks on.
