Base Class: Monk
The Way of the Arcane Fist is dedicated to tapping into the mystical and divine energies of the universe to empower their bodies and offering their Ki to the universe in exchange. The Arcane Fist are often multi-disciplinary, often dedicating some of their training time to studying the ways of Druids, Clerics, Bards, or other magical practitioners.
Mystical Flows
You have learned the art of transferring your Ki into mystical energy, and the inverse as well. On your turn, you may do one of the following:
- As a bonus action, you may restore a spent Spell Slot of level 5 or less by spending Ki Points equal to the level of that slot. You use this ability a number of times equal to your proficiency modifier. All uses are restored on a Long Rest.
- As a bonus action, you may spend a Spell Slot to regain 1 Ki. If the Spell Slot is level 2 or higher, you may take an additional Bonus Action this turn.
Spellcasting
You have studied the philosophy and technique of another discipline sufficiently to master the basics of their craft.
Select from Cleric, Druid, or Bard. You may learn 2 cantrips and a 1st level spell from the spell list of the chosen class. Regardless of your choice, your spellcasting will use your Wisdom ability.
Way of the Bard
You have an interest in the beauty of art, story, song, and dance. You have, through imitation, mastered two basic techniques of the Bards.
Way of the Cleric
You have been submitted yourself to the Will of the Gods. You have, through reverence and purity of thought, earned the right to use the simplest of divine magic.
Way of the Druid
You have been drawn to the raw power and subtle beauty of nature. You have, through careful study and practice, mastered two basic techniques of the Druids.
Flurry of Magic
You seemlessly weave your spell casting into your martial combat.
- You may use a Monk Weapon as a spellcasting focus.
- When making a Touch or Melee Spell Attack Roll, you may use a Melee Attack Roll in its place.
- You may cast a Touch range spell in place of one of your unarmed strikes when using Flurry of Blows.
Disciplined Focus
Your mastery of deep meditative practices offers a mental bulwark against distraction.
You automatically succeed Concentration checks caused by damage, if the damage you take is 15 or less.
The Arcane Fist
You focus your Ki into a blaze of mystical energy around your fists. Once per turn, you may spend a Ki point to add Force damage to your Unarmed Strikes equal to your Wisdom Modifier until the end of that turn.
