Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

Your very body and soul have been infused with necrotic power by an Undead relative. Whether this power is derived from that of a powerful Lich or an ancient Vampire, you have inherited their connection to the powers of undeath through the Miasma you are capable of generating when you manifest this power. Regardless of it's origins and their connotations, you see them as a powerful tool in whatever goals you may strive to achieve, now aided by a quite literally undying power at your control.

Miasma Magic

1st-level Miasma Soul feature

You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Miasmatic Spells table. Each of these spells counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but it doesn’t count against the number of sorcerer spells you know.

Whenever you gain a sorcerer level, you can replace one spell you gained from this feature with another spell of the same level. The new spell must be an abjuration or a transmutation spell from the sorcerer, warlock, or wizard spell list.

Miasmatic Spells

3rd gentle repose, ray of enfeeblement
5th animate dead, revivify
7th death ward, blight
9th antilife shell, raise dead

Undead Heritage

1st-level Miasma Soul feature

At 1st level, the miasma within your body renders you more akin to undead creatures. You count as undead for the purposes of magic and social interaction with other undead.

Additionally, you are now resistant to necrotic damage.

(Note: While you are able to be affected by Turn Undead, you are unable to be destroyed upon failing the WIS Save due to Destroy Undead.)

Necromantic Gift

6th-level Miasma Soul feature

You can tap into the miasma you control to imbue a creature with a facsimile of life. As an action, you can expend 1 to 5 sorcery points to create temporary hit points for yourself or another creature you can see within 30 feet of you.

This false life lasts until you finish a long rest or until you use this feature again. The temporary hit points are represented by a number of d8s equal to the number of sorcery points spent to create it.

Lineage Mastery

14th-level Miasma Soul feature

You now count as undead for the purposes of magic only when it would be beneficial for yourself, also gaining advantage on any charisma checks when interacting with undead.

Furthermore, you no longer require air, food, drink, or sleep, and you have gained an immunity to the effects and damage of poison, as the miasma you control can now sustain your body and sap out any malicious factors within.

Soul Siphon

18th-level Miasma Soul feature

Beginning at 18th level, you can channel the undead presence of your Miasma, causing those around you to be siphoned of their energy. As an action, you can spend 7 sorcery points to draw on this power and exude an aura of exhaustion to a distance of 60 feet. For 1 minute or until you lose your concentration (as if you were casting a concentration spell), each hostile creature that starts its turn in this aura must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or suffer two level of exhaustion until the aura ends. A creature that succeeds on this saving throw is immune to your aura for 24 hours.
