Base Class: Artificer
Closing mortal wounds and curing fatal diseases. Physicians do not rely on the divine gifts of gods for their healing ability, instead they rely on their mind and talents to save the lives of others.
Medical School
3rd-level Physician feature
You gain proficiency in Medicine and with the Herbalism kit.
Additionally, you are immune to disease.

3rd-level Physician feature
You always have certain spells prepared after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Physician Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but they don’t count against the number of artificer spells you prepare.

Diagnosis
3rd-level Physician feature
You gain the ability to mend and heal wounds. You have a pool of d6s equal to 1 + your artificer level. As a bonus action, target a creature you can see within 60 feet of you, spending dice from the pool. Roll the dice you spend and add them together, the target regains a number of hit points equal to the total.
The maximum number of dice you can spend at once equals your Intelligence modifier and your pool regains all expended dice when you finish a long rest.
Harm-a-cist
5th-level Physician feature
Using your Diagnosis feature or casting a spell which restores hit points causes your next damage dealing spell to deal additional necrotic damage equal to half your Artificer level (rounded down).
This additional damage can only be applied once per creature per turn. This feature doesn't stack.
Physical Examination
9th-level Physician feature
You examine the physique of a creature to reveal their strengths and weaknesses. As an action, target a creature you can see within 60ft and make an Intelligence (Medicine) check. The target must make a contested Charisma (Deception) check. If you succeed the contest, you learn the following attributes about it;
Damage Immunities / Resistances / Vulnerabilities and Condition Immunities.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Intelligence modifier, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Master Surgeon
15th-level Physician feature
No ailment is beyond your ability to heal. You gain the ability to cast Regenerate, without expending a spell slot or requiring the material components. Once you do so, you cannot use this feature again until you finish a long rest.

Posted Dec 16, 2025Hello, I'm trying to use this subclass for a new campaign, but its not showing up. I think it needs an update to match the new 2024 rulebook. Would you be willing to create a new updated version?
