Base Class: Warlock
Pain and perseverance are your prime directive. You are flame made flesh, death given life, as the cycle infinitely repeats. You are who you are, but who you are isn't static. The fire that feeds you? That protects you? That drives you? Even once you're dead and gone, your soul of fire will forever live on.
Bonus Cantrips
You learn the spare the dying cantrip, and you are able to cast it as a bonus action. In addition, you learn the fire bolt cantrip. Any Eldritch Invocations that affect eldritch blast also affect fire bolt.
These both count as Warlock cantrips for you and they don't count against your number of cantrips known.
Pact Spell List
The Reborn grants you access to additional spells, called pact spells. Once you gain a pact spell, you always have it at your disposal, and it doesn’t count against the number of spells you know. If you have a pact spell that doesn’t appear on the warlock spell list, the spell is nonetheless a warlock spell for you..
Pact Spells
| DRUID LEVEL | SPELLS |
|---|---|
| 1st | bless, burning hands |
| 3rd | aid, scorching ray |
| 5th | beacon of hope, fireball |
| 7th | death ward, wall of fire |
| 9th | immolation, reincarnate |
From the Ashes
Starting at 1st level, you are always covered in a thin layer of ash. The ash covers your skin, as well as anything you are wearing or holding. It cannot be removed by any means, even submersion in water. This ash protects you, granting you resistance to fire damage and advantage on Constitution saving throws to resist the effects of extreme heat and extreme cold.
Cinder Stride
Starting at 6th level, as a reaction after being hit with an attack, you are able to halve the damage taken and disappear in a cloud of smoldering ash, teleporting up to 30 feet in any direction to an unoccupied space you can see. If the triggering damage type is fire, you instead take no damage from the attack.
You can use Cinder Stride once at 6th level, twice at 10th level, and three times at 14th level. You regain one expended use upon finishing a short rest, and you regain all expended uses upon finishing a long rest.
Flesh to Flame
Starting at 10th level your patron has bestowed upon you the ability to become the physical embodiment of fire.
As a bonus action you are able to transform into a Fire Elemental. The transformation lasts for ten minutes and does not require concentration. Your stat block becomes that of a Fire Elemental, though you retain your Intelligence, Wisdom and Charisma scores. If your hit points are reduced to zero during your transformation your form reverts and any additional damage not taken by your Fire Elemental form carries over to and affects your normal form. While in your Fire Elemental Form, you are still able to cast spells, but they can only be your bonus cantrips or those that appear on your Pact Spells list.
You can use this feature once per long rest.
Rise of the Phoenix
Starting at 14th level, immediately after failing your third death saving throw, instead of dying you erupt into a 10-foot radius sphere of flames. Anyone within the sphere when it manifests takes 6d10 fire damage, or half as much on a successful Dexterity saving throw, and is then forced out of the sphere's radius. The sphere cannot be breached, and the fire cannot be extinguished.
Roll 1d4, the result of which is how long you are enveloped by the sphere. At the start of the number turn you rolled, you undergo a process equivalent to the reincarnate spell, with a minor change. When rolling on the reincarnation table, you instead roll twice, and can choose which of the two results you will be reincarnated as.
You return as if you had just completed a short rest, during which you rolled all of your available hit dice, gaining the resulting total in hit points. Additionally, you suffer 1d3 levels of exhaustion. If this effect would increase your exhaustion level to six or above, you do not die, instead remaining comatose until you've gained the benefits of a long rest or until being affected by the Greater Restoration spell. While comatose you are considered to be paralyzed and unconscious.
You cannot benefit from this feature again until 10 days have passed.
