Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

The Shattered One was once a mortal man, driven mad by a thirst for knowledge and a lust for power. He tried to ascend into godhood, or perhaps even beyond- and in a sense, it worked. His soul was shattered, scattered into the empty space between the worlds. Absorbed into the Void itself, the Shattered One's gaze now reaches across all the known realms, from the depths of the Abyss to the heights of Mount Celestia, to beyond the Outer Planes themselves. While it is difficult, the Shattered One has been rumored to contact beings upon the Material Plane, instilling a fragment of his soul into that of the being that is now his Warlock.

Warlocks of the Shattered One go by another name: Voidwalkers.
This Homebrew Patron was inspired by the Voidwalker subclass from the Destiny video game series developed by Bungie and published by Activision Blizzard.

Shattered Pact Magic

The Shattered One grants his Warlocks additional spells, instead of adding spells to the Warlock Spell List. Voidwalkers instinctively know these spells, and they do not count against the number of Warlock spells known.
Shattered One Spells:

Misty Step
Blink
Dimension Door, Banishment
Time Stop

Time Stop consumes the 9th-level use of Mystic Arcanum, or two Pact Magic spell slots (your choice_.

Voidwalk

NOTE: This feature is unlocked at first level, but has no effect until 5th level when you gain the spell Blink.
The Shattered One's soul fragment empowers the spells Blink and Banishment. Banishment will banish the creature to the Void Between Worlds, regardless of their home plane, dealing 3d4 psychic damage. When you cast Blink, you appear in the Void rather than the Ethereal Plane. Additionally, you can choose whether or not to step out of the Void, and you can reappear in an unoccupied space up to 15 feet from the point you vanished from. Finally, the duration of Blink is increased to 5 minutes, or until dismissed. Once you cast Blink in this manner, you can't cast it again without using a spell slot until you finish a short rest.

Shattered Sight

At 6th level, the Shattered One's Warlock can peer through the Void. As an action, you channel the Void to splinter your vision, creating temporary eyes throughout the multiverse. The eyes function as if they were created by the Arcane Eye spell, with the exception that they can exist on another plane, at an infinite distance from you (so long as you know what the location looks like), cannot move, and they do not require concentration. You can create a number of eyes equal to your Charisma modifier and last for one minute. For the duration, you are considered blinded, unless you have an eye that would otherwise cancel the effect- such as the eye can see the creature you are trying to attack.

Hungering Void

At 10th level, you can absorb the life force of your foes into the Void, restoring yourself in the process. When you reduce a hostile creature to zero hit points with a spell, you regain health equal to the spell level plus your Charisma modifier. Any excess hit points recovered become temporary hit points that last for up to a minute. You cannot gain temporary hit points from this feature if you already have temporary health, or are at your hit point maximum.

Void Burst

Starting at 14th level, you learn to channel the Void for destructive purposes. As an action, you can create an orb of raw Void and hurl it at a point within 90 feet of you. The Void orb erupts in a massive surge of power. All creatures that are not friendly to you within a 25-foot radius sphere centered on that point must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC. The creature takes 6d12 force damage on a failed save, and half as much on a successful one. Regardless of their save, all creatures within the burst's radius are pushed outside of it. The burst spreads around corners and ignores any effect that would give an affected creature on their save.

You regain hit points/gain temporary hit points as per the Hungering Void feature for each creature reduced to zero hit points by this attack. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you complete a Voidwalker's Rest. A Voidwalker's Rest is a special kind of long rest that you spend entirely within the Void itself, deepening your connection to the Shattered One. Until you complete this Voidwalker's Rest, your maximum hit points are reduced by 2d12.
