Wizard
Base Class: Wizard

Your studies have brought you into contact with the Raven Queen and she seemed you worthy. You travel the world seeking memories for her dark Castle.

The Queen's Eye

2nd-level Raven Queen's Scribe

You can access the Lore kept in the Raven Queen's ancient domain. You are able to recall the experiences of those who have given their minds to the Raven Queen and can use these to your advantage.

With one minute of focus you are able to pull a specific memory to the forefront of your mind and gain advantage on a skill check you make within 1 minute. You can do this a number of time per day equal to your proficiency modifier.

Also as a bonus action, you can magically summon a Raven made of shadows. This raven holds your spell book and can carry it to a secure location on the Shadowfell. The Raven has the following properties:

  • The Raven can maintain a form on the material plane only in dim light. It can be manifest for 1 hour per wizard level. It has AC 15, 4 HP, and resistance to nonmagical damage of any type. When it's HP reaches 0 it is dispersed in a puff of smoke.
  • The time you must spend to copy a spell into your spellbook equals 2 minutes per spell level if the Raven is present.
  • Once per long rest the Raven can cast 1 spell up to the highest level you can cast .

This Raven disappears if you manifest another or if you die.

Manifest Raven

6th-level Scribe of the Raven Queen feature

You can conjure forth the the Shadowfell the true form of your Shadow Raven. As a bonus action while the Raven is manifest, you can cause it to manifest separate from you and it can fly to any unoccupied space of your choice within 60 feet of its current location. The Raven is intangible and doesn’t occupy its space, and it dims light in a 20-foot radius.

While manifested, the Raven can hear and see, and it has darkvision with a range of 60 feet. It can telepathically share with you what it sees and hears (no action required).

Whenever you cast a wizard spell on your turn, you can cast it as if you were in the Raven’s space, instead of your own, using its senses. You can do so a number of times per day equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.

As a bonus action, you can cause the Raven to hover up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space that you or it can see. It can pass through creatures but not objects.

The Raven stops manifesting if it is ever more than 300 feet away from you, if someone casts dispel magic on it, if the Manifestation is destroyed, if you die, or if you dismiss it as a bonus action. Once you fully manifest the Raven, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest, unless you expend a spell slot of any level to conjure it again.

Shadow Walker

10th-level Scribe of the Raven Queen

You are now able to shift the spaces of the Shadowfell around you. As a bonus action you may cast the spell Dimension Door using your caster level with the destination being the space currently occupied by your Manifested Raven. You are able to do so 3 plus your int modifier  times per long rest.

You're also able to access the mind of the Raven Queen more readily gaining the Feat Keen Mind.

One with the Word

14th-level Order of Scribes feature

Your connection to your Shadow Raven has become so profound that your soul has become entwined with it. While the Raven is manifest, you have advantage on all Intelligence checks to recall history, as the Raven as access to the vast stores of memories of the Raven Queen.

Moreover, if you take damage while your Raven is fully manifested, you can prevent all of that damage to you by using your reaction to dismiss the Raven, using its magic to save yourself. Then roll 3d6. You lose spells of your choice that have a combined spell level equal to that roll or higher. For example, if the roll’s total is 9, spells vanish from the book that have a combined level of at least 9, which could mean one 9th-level spell, three 3rd-level spells, or some other combination. If there aren’t enough spells in the book to cover this cost, you drop to 0 hit points. Once you use this reaction, you can’t do so again until you finish a long rest.
