Bard
Base Class: Bard

Dancers favor agility and litheness over showings of brute strength. Some dancers favor charismatic persuasion over combat. Others revel in it as they tirelessly dodge attacks and strike fast and hard. Dancers that rely on the arcane can infuse the elements with their dancing, causing an array of effects that can turn the tide and take opponents by surprise. Every dancer knows how to put on a good show, whether it be a dance act or an act of deception. And many dancers lives a life of intrigue and political danger, performing for royalty and collecting rumors and secrets.

Bonus Choreography

When you join the College of Dance at 3rd level, your intense physical training in dance has gifted you with immense grace and balance. When you make a Dexterity (Acrobatics) or Charisma (Performance) check, you can treat a d20 roll of 9 or lower as a 10.

Graceful Performance

Additionally at 3rd level, you have gained a fluidity to all movements.
Whenever you take the Attack action on your turn, your walking speed increases by 10 feet until the end of the turn, and if a weapon attack that you make as part of this action hits a creature, you can use one of the following Graceful Performance options of your choice. You can use only one Graceful Performance option per turn.
Back Walkover. When another creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die. Add the number rolled to your AC for that attack, potentially causing the attack to miss you.

Back Handsprings. When you hit a creature with a melee weapon attack, you can use your reaction to expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration. Roll the Bardic Inspiration die. You can move up to five times the number rolled away from the target.

Cartwheel. When a creature within 5 feet of you makes an attack against a target other than you, you can use your reaction to expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature. The damage equals the number you roll on the Bardic Inspiration die.

Dazzling Performance

By 6th level, you have learned the tricks of the trade. As a bonus action, you cast Pyrotechnics, without expending a spell slot, and you begin a bedazzling performance for 1 minute or until your concentration ends (as if you were concentrating on a spell). During this time, you can cast Pyrotechnics as a bonus action on each of your turns, without expending a spell slot.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Captivating Performance

Starting at 14th level, you have mastered the way of finesse. You weave swiftly in and out of combat, drawing the attention of your foes.

In addition, as an action, you can begin a magically captivating performance for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. For the duration, whenever a creature starts or ends its turn within 5 feet of you, it must must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is drawn to you, compelled by your divine demand. For the duration, it has disadvantage on attack rolls against creatures other than you, and must make a Wisdom saving throw each time it attempts to move to a space that is more than 10 feet away from you; if it succeeds on this saving throw, this feature doesn’t restrict the target’s movement for that turn.

Once you begin this captivating performance, you can't do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
