Base Class: Bard
A Bard College for those looking to master the power of making the dead dance to your tune.
Song of Awakening
Starting at 3rd level, when you join the College of the Macabre, your music can stir even the dead. As a bonus action, you can expend one Bardic Inspiration die to raise a corpse or pile of bones that you can see within 30 feet of you, creating a zombie or skeleton under your control. The creature created gains a bonus to it's attack and damage rolls equal to your charisma modifier. It remains animate and under your control for a number of rounds equal to the number you rolled on the dice, at which point the effect ends and it becomes inanimate once more. If the creature dies or you use this feature again, the effect ends early. While under your control in this way, the creature obeys general commands, such as to guard a passageway against enemies or to attack hostile creatures, and it acts on your initiative.
Grasp of the Grave
Beginning at 3rd level, you learn how to channel the grasp of death and direct it towards others. You learn the Chill Touch cantrip, which doesn’t count against the number of bard cantrips you know.
Necrodancer
Beginning at level 6, you know how to bring the dead back with the power of music and dance. You learn the Animate Dead spell, which doesn't count against the number of bard spells that you know. You can cast this spell without expending a spell slot an amount of times equal to half of your proficiency bonus (rounded down). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
You must choose the correct option below at the required levels to be able to use this feature accurately.
[17th] Soliloquy of Souls
You can use this feature three times per long rest.
[6th] Ditty of the Damned
You can use this feature once per long rest.
[9th] Requiem of Rot
You can use this feature twice per long rest.
Song of Death
Starting at 14th level, you learn how to recreate the effects of the Danse Macabre spell. You can use this feature a number of times up to half your proficiency bonus, and regain the ability to use it this way when you finish a long rest. When you use this feature, you can choose to expend one of your Bardic Inspiration die and target an additional number of Undead equal to half the result rolled.
