Bard
Base Class: Bard

Bards of the College of Command are known for their impressive ability to inspire and bolster their allies, combining both sharp wit and deadly aim to create a dangerous performer who dances the line between beauty and destruction. These bards know better than most that beauty and creativity can blossom anywhere, even on a battlefield. This mindset allows them to become the greatest of leaders and generals, supporting their troops to achieve feats that would otherwise seem impossible. Bards of this College, however, are few and far between, as the recent invention of guns has provided little time for mastery of this delicate and dangerous craft. As such, many see bards of this College as taboo, disregarding the old magic of song and creation in favor of violence and carnage.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you join the College of Command at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with firearms and martial weapons.

Inspiring Shot

Also at 3rd level, you learn to harness the power of song to lower an enemy's defences. Once a turn as a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration die and add the number rolled to the attack role of your next weapon attack. If this attack hits, you deal extra psychic damage equal to 1d6 plus your proficiency bonus and the next attack against the creature has advantage.

The number of d6s increases when you reach certain levels in this class, increasing to 2d6 at 5th level, 3d6 at 10th level, and 4d6 at 15th level.

Extra Attack

Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Commanding Call

You weave inspirational magic into your shouts, immediately spurring an ally into action. As an action, you can give your turn to an creature who has a use of Bardic Inspiration, allowing them to immediately take their turn, regardless of their place in initiative. At the start of their turn, the creature can roll their Bardic Inspiration die. For the rest of the turn, they can add the number rolled to any and all attack roles, saving throws, and ability checks. You can use this a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus.
