You gain the ability to manifest your familiar without expending spell slots. You can cast the Find Familiar spell once per long rest without expending any material components or spell slots. You cast the spell as a ritual. Familiars manifested by those with this feat are sentient and always the same being, regardless of the form it takes. If your familiar is destroyed by being dispelled or brought to 0 HP, you cannot manifest it again until the next dawn.

As a bonus action once per short rest, you can establish a telepathic bond with your familiar with allows them to communicate with you in a language you understand. This telepathic bond lasts for 10 minutes. Your familiar must be within touch range to initiate the telepathic bond but after the bond has been initiate it may travel far away from you without breaking the telepathy.

Familiars summoned through this feat may take up any of the following forms: Badger, Bat, Cat, Crab, Eagle, Frog, Giant Fire Beetle, Hawk, Juvenile Mimic, Lizard, Minor Drake, Octopus, Owl, Quipper, Rat, Raven, Scorpion, Sea Horse, Spider, and Weasel. These familiars follow all rules other rules from the Find Familiar spell.
