In a world where everyone has a unique superpower, can you really call them 'super'? Well, that's what you're about to find out, as in this thread, you play as an everyday person, but they've got a superpower! (and so does everybody else!). You can do whatever you want with your epic powers (that everybody has)! Make coffee! (but with superpowers!) Take a train to work! (but with superpowers!) Cry for 3 hours straight! (but with superpowers!) Anything you want to do, you can achieve!* 

*With a healthy dose of meritocracy

The Rules
1. As normal with any thread, abide by all the forum rules, and please keep topics PG-13.
2. Roleplay and interact with others in a sociable way. Don't be a meanie
3. No God-Builds with superpowers, though the details are below
4. You are playing a regular, everyday person, but now with as superpower. Therefore, you should use the Commoner stat block to determine any rolls that may come up, but with any changes your power provides on top.

How to make your epic superpowers!
1. It can be any ability you want, as long as it is not a totally destructive ability (such as resetting the universe or insta-kill), or one that cannot physically be done through forums (so pretty much any form of time travel etc lmao)
2. Your superpower MUST have a weakness. It can be a flaw in the ability, or a separate drawback you have as a person. As a general rule of thumb, the stronger the power, the bigger the weakness.
3. As DM, I get full license to adjust your power as I see fit or veto any powers that I think break Step 1. This includes powers that I previously accepted, but are then used in an overpowered way (so no choosing water manipulation and then just vaporising people). I will try to keep this to an absolute minimum though; I trust that if I allow you to have a good power, you will not abuse it.

Keep in mind this thread is more of a Slice Of Life focussed story (but with superpowers), and not a crazy superhero plotline (so when detailing characters below, their backstories will likely be quite bland as they're just regular people). Once you've read through the everything, post your character below for me to have a look at. I'll start the story when I feel enough people have joined (around 5 maybe), but I will be fairly hands-off as GM, and may recruit some other GMs depending on how this all goes, so really, you and your characters are led by themselves, with me being the Rules Guy and sometimes the Story Guy, and I may even play a character myself.

Sure, Flight and Super Strength are cool, but in a world were everyone has powers, especially if they're unique, the common ones like them would have been taken millennia ago, leaving the rest of the modern day population with wacky and unusual powers.]

 *Kinesis are always some of the coolest powers. There's tele, aqua, pyro, cryo, magneo, electro, and a whole bunch of others. I just wish someone else would post a character so I could RP with them*

 A man, his suit the colour of lavender, a light green shirt beneath, and with flowing gold hair, who you had bumped into, reaches out a hand to help get you back on your feet. 'I'm so sorry.' he says, in a voice as smooth as butter 'My mind was wandering and I didn't look where I was going. Are you alright?' He smiles a thin grin, his white teeth barely showing.

[We've got quite a few people interested so think it's time to outline the lore of the thread, though it isn't exactly in depth.

This thread takes place in a world where everyone is born with a superpower. This is unique to them, and it's registered at birth. Their power defines a lot about a person's life; people will almost always lean into their power as part of their personality, which can be good for people that have creative or helpful abilities, but can lead to some darker situations when people have superpowers with intent to harm.

In this universe, superpowers are the #1 cause for discrimination. In fact, homophobia, sexism, racism, ableism and all other forms of segregation are almost non-existent, though that's only because superpowers give everyone a common thing to divide them. No one is the same; everyone is unique. In the olden days, people would be used only for their ability and not their worth as a person, and people with potential invasive or dangerous abilities like mind reading or heaven's forbid, mind control, were either ostracised or flat out exiled.

However, about 50 years ago, in the 1970s, this changed. There were huge protests and movements to unite all superpowers, and this led to the development of San Fuerza, a city where anybody of any power could live in harmony. Nowadays, it's easily the biggest city in the world, with about the same amount of people as real life Tokyo, with the rest of the world being much more underpopulated and sparse (the population is around 2 billion). San Fuerza is incredibly technologically advanced as well; everyone carries a passport with them that is read by sensors that can take in data on a persons power to accommodate them and direct them to where they will be suited best. There are cafes, apartments, parks, shops and places of work for all different forms of power, all on the same street, whilst in years gone by they would have been in different villages or even countries. Even a group of people with entirely different powers can share a train, with each carriage being made to cater to a powerset. All this combined makes San Fuerza easily the most welcoming, accepting and accessible group in all the world (though that's not to say some prejudices don't still exist beneath the surface).

This thread will follow the lives of ordinary people living life in San Fuerza, the ups and the downs, the struggles that may seem ordinary (break up, be fired, discrimination), and the struggles that may be a little different (how do I buy shoes if my ability is that I have flippers?). So, basically, you can sit back, chill, and just roleplay everyday life, but with a bit of magic sprinkled in!]

 "No I am not alright. I was trying to go to work and you just up and bumped into me!" The man says irritably. The screen of his phone starts to flicker as it lays on the ground, as well as the phones of nearby people.

A teenage-looking kid wearing a black hoodie(the usual emo style) is standing at a nearby bus stop either texting or playing a game on his phone when the screen starts to flicker. He turns to the people around him, and in an accusatory tone, says "Hey! Cmon! I hadn't saved my essay! Who did that?!"
