I've been searching for minis for some of our group members and it has been near impossible to find any good "Goliath" and "Tabaxi" miniatures. The official D&D minis for Goliaths are not that great and they are pricey due to it's rarity. The official Tabaxi minis are just down right bad...
Does anyone know of any custom minis or other miniature brands that can be used for these types of special races. We also have a "Lionfolk" race in our campaign... and there is barely anything online for that... and I know on Heroforge you can make your own custom minis but can get pricey too... If anyone has any recommendations please let me know.
What I did was get this guy, and then I based him on a piece of cork painted to look like a big rock. It's not a perfect solution, but it was a pretty effective way to account for the size difference.

Thanks! That one could work for our Goliath Barb. He will just have to come up with a reason for growing out a beard... hah.
Volk the Bastard is the right size but has hair, Mother Morrigan could work for a female cleric/paladin/fighter goliath, Hurin is another who fits except for a bit too much hair, and they also sell blank nude bald minis if you want to do the armor/details yourself. Bjornolf dolly & Hurin dolly for that.
I've purchased from them a few times, and all the minis have been excellent quality. Above average on the metal, and even better for the resin. Much nicer than reaper (bones or metal) or the new primed Wizkids stuff. That said, it ain't cheap, it takes a bit to ship to the US, and the shipping ain't cheap.
Good thing is they have sales all the time, significant percentages too. Pretty much every holiday or con triggers a sale. Sign up for the newsletter to get the codes.

Oh wow!! I looked them up. These are really good for Goliaths. I will have to share this for sure. Thanks! :)
Hey mypalsupes... I modded the Minotaur base figure over at Hero Forge, to make it look like a Goliath. The Minotaur base is their largest one so far. You can see how it turned out in my profile picture.
hey everyone! I have a figure frome HeroeForge and i want to print it. BUT i want my own 3d printer. Is anyone have some? I found some small 3d printers here. Which one will be good for home using? Thanks)

Regarding Tabaxi, I think HeroForge is your best bet.

Hasslefree miniatures, which is a outfit in the UK has a few minis that would be perfect for goliaths.
Their "Wolf" barbarian mini is large, mean, and bald. At 36mm he works out to roughly 7'2.5" on the 28mm scale.
Akos the Scorned & Zuun Akos can also be direct stand ins for Goliaths as is.

Never really looked for tabaxi miniatures as I'm not a big fan of them in D&D. I know Reaper has some, you could search on their figure finder.
Also found this Feline faced rogue.
