Hey there, just had a conversation with a local AL player and it looks like the character creater lets variant human take eldritch adept as a feat in character creation. But eldritch adept has a prerequisite for "spellcasting" which the character may or may not have at creation.
The specific question was about a ranger, who won't get spellcasting until 2nd level. But you can also select eldritch adept as a variant human feat while making a barbarian.
Is this a limitation of the system, or was there an erata I missed that allows variant human to ignore prereqs?

That is defiantly just an error in the system. I was able to replicate it and made sure to have prerequisites enabled.
