When creating a kensei monk, you are given the opportunity to choose a kensei weapon where "Each of these weapons can be any simple or martial weapon that lacks the heavy and special properties. The longbow is also a valid choice. You gain proficiency with these weapons if you don’t already have it. Weapons of the chosen types are monk weapons for you.".
However, when choosing a two-handed weapon (I chose a great club) the two-handed property overrides the monk weapon feature and dexterity bonuses are not applied properly.
Thank you for your observation, please know that the team has received your input and has determined that your suggestion fits into planned future feature efforts. As we design and plan these features your suggestion will be considered as acceptance criteria and insights to the feature’s scope. Thank you!
