Is there a way to create a homebrew item that, when equipped, would have a button I could hit to add 10 HP to my character.
Basically, my player found a totem that when they reach 0 HP, the totem will activate and save the player giving them 10 HP (only once per day). While I get it is not-very likely to automate this such that when my HP reaches zero it would automatically gain 10 HP, I was hoping to just have a button I could hit when that happens.
I tried to make this happen by creating a Wonderous Item
Then I added a modifier:
Modifier Type: Bonus Modifier Subtype: Hit Points Fixed Value: 10
I've added it to my equipment list and made it active.
I was hoping that when I clicked on it there would be a button to use it and it would automatically apply the 10HP.

Is that a thing? Or just wishful thinking.
No, if it were then Healing Potions would do that. You’re gonna have to just add a charge and they’ll have to do it the old fashioned way
