I am not sure what happened but for some reason all my characters and purchases have dissapeared from my account and am not sure why this happened. Help
You will need to submit a support ticket. Please be patient, as they can get backed up and they don't work weekends. (And in the US, next Monday is part of the weekend as it is Memorial Day). It is most likely that you inadvertently have multiple accounts. When did you last access the content you are missing? If it was before 4/24/2021 (your join date for the account you are currently posting from) that is almost certainly the case.
There was a recent maintenance period that required users to be logged out. In this case, it's possible that when logging back in, you used a method that was not tied to your original account; as ArwensDaughter said, it's "most likely that you inadvertently have multiple accounts."
It's worth mentioning that any account that was created prior to April 2019 had to use Twitch to log in (at least at some point). You might try logging out and back with with a different login method than you used just now, or checking your email for any indication of previous login methods.
