They're a 5th level druid, and they haven't been able to unprepare Create or Destroy Water for a few weeks. I've tried unpreparing everything to clear out the spells but it always comes back when refreshing/navigating to the page for the first time. Any ideas?
That character sheet is currently private, and so is only viewable by admins and forum mods. But is there anything else that may be causing create or destroy water to appear on their character sheet? Perhaps the water genasi's "Call to the Wave" feature? Or do they have the character sheet open on multiple devices, somehow? That can cause issues with information updating properly.
It is being added by water genasi's "Call to the Wave" feature, but that's in addition to it being listed as prepared so it appears twice at 2nd level. Oddly enough, it doesn't actually affect the number of other spells they can prepare -- they should be able to prepare 9 (Fifth level Druid with +4 to WIS) but including create or destroy water they have 10 prepared.
It's especially strange, since I can't reproduce this behavior with a water genasi druid. Try having your player clear their browser cache, and log out and back in. If that doesn't fix this issue, then it may be time to call in someone who can have a look on a deeper level!
The only way I've seen to fix this is to have the character changed to a state where they would not have access to that particular spell level. As it is a 1st level Druid spell, this would mean removing ALL druid levels. Then readd the levels and check if the issue still persists. Alternatively recreating the character from scratch (don't copy) should also resolve it.
