My characters are set to public, but when I go to test the share link while logged off or incognito, it states that I need to be logged in to see the shared character sheet. Is this normal, or is there any way to share the sheet without having to be logged into D&D Beyond to see it?
I'm not sure if it is intended behavior, but I can confirm that this is the way it works currently: There was a thread a while back about it.
Thought I was going crazy just now because I replied in that thread with the way to get around it and thought it was this thread LOL
Anyway, post that again, you can get around that issue by creating it as a PDF file, done within the "What's Next" section when you edit your character. The PDFs are designed to be fillable so you can have them open in your PDF viewer, edit what you do each game and then save them as is.

A bit unfortunate, but that will do well enough for now, thank you! I really do hope they allow sharing outside of D&D Beyond log-ins again soon, I remember it being shareable that way in the past.
