Pearl of Power is not flagged as requiring attunement, however the SRD (page 232) mentions it requires attunement from a spellcaster.

This is not resolved, my character added a pearl of power just today and it still doesn't show up as requiring attunement on the character sheet.
Is the pearl equipped? If it's not equipped (the little checkbox next to the item in your inventory) it won't show up in the attunement section. The attunement symbol doesn't show up until it's been attuned, if that's what you're looking for.
