Hi, I have selected the Shadow Touched feat for a Cleric. Invisibility and the extra 1st level spell (Inflict wounds) shows up as "Use" actions on my character sheet, but why are they not also listed as known spells and therefore also available for casting using spell slots.
For completeness I have included the description of the feat below:
Your exposure to the Shadowfell’s magic has changed you, granting you the following benefits:
Increase your Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
You learn the invisibility spell and one 1st-level spell of your choice. The 1st-level spell must be from the illusion or necromancy school of magic. You can cast each of these spells without expending a spell slot. Once you cast either of these spells in this way, you can’t cast that spell in this way again until you finish a long rest. You can also cast these spells using spell slots you have of the appropriate level. The spells’ spellcasting ability is the ability increased by this feat.
Limitation of the system. A feat is not able to use spell slots, so it cannot add anything that does.
If you need it expressed on your sheet, you can edit your subclass and make a hidden feature that adds the spells to use slots.
Personally, I just manually check the spell slot. Seems faster. Even upcasting - the math is easy enough. For invisibility targets are level -1 (so 1 at base 2nd level, 2 at 3rd, etc). For Inflict Wounds the no. of d10s is 2 + level. So a 2nd level would be 4d10. Super easy.

Created a subclass based on a Cleric with the Twilight Domain, but another feature broke. An optional rule (Replacement Feature) named Blessed Strikes does not show up. I guess it is available to pure (non-subclass) Clerics only. Another limitation of the system ?
I suspect that the original structure of a character did not fully anticipate subclasses and how to include all the new feats/optional rules/features/items/proficiencies that modify/grant spells/known spells/advantage/disadvantage/stats/statbonus/resistances/immunity/vulnerability/proficiency/expertise/damage/damage types/encumbrance that affects a character.
Obviously not an easy task but it looks like the Character Builder needs a bit more love.
Update - I found a workaround. Added the 2 spells from the "Shadow Touched" feat as part of a homebrewed Background.

Currently we set up Blessed Strikes for each individual cleric subclass - if you make a copy of any subclass (such as Life Domain cleric) - you'll see how we set it up.
Hello. I thought it might be cleaner to post here rather than create a new thread.
I've got a Kenku Rogue Level 2. Our DM gave us a feat to start the game with due to having a small party size. I choose Shadowtouched (Intelligence). This has been added to the character sheet fine, and I can use the invisibility normally, however I am unable to select the 1st level spell.

In your character sheet, the Features & Traits section, if you click the Feats tag, and then the Manage Feats link, the sidebar will pop out with the whole set of available feats. Scroll down to Shadow Touched (Intelligence), you should see a ! in a blue circle to the right of it. Click on the feat name, and below the feat description, there's a dropdown box for selecting your 1st-level spell.

Ah excellent, I'd missed that. That sorted it, thanks very much :)

Thank you for superfast response. I have just created a my subclass. Now I need "transfer" my char into the new class.
Fell across your subclasses. Fire Soul rocks but bypassing others immunity to fire is a bit too powerfull in my opinion.
Thanks again.
