No matter what I do, I can't seem to figure out how to make additional speed temporary in the log for a homebrew subclass feature. It's just making the character have 10 extra speed. I do modifiers-bonus-speed. And tried to restrict it to a duration but it doesn't work.
Whirling Rage
At 3rd level when you choose this path, you learn to rage with unimaginable speed. During your rage, you gain an extra 10ft to your walking speed. Additionally, you can add your rage damage to Dexterity based melee attacks as well.
I would recommend making a homebrew magic item, set to Artifact rarity, so you can apply the effect when equipped and remove when you unequip. I do this with Mage Armour for my spellcasters.
