So i found a bug when making a new subclass for the blood hunter. When giving the subclass the spellcasting trait, the subclass now is 2 spells known short compared to the arcane trickster or the eldritch knight. I have no idea what has caused this as i have literally copied everything i could from the ED into the new subclass. If you know the reason please let me know. If not it is a limiting bug that's quite annoying to deal with
Whenever either Spellcasting or Pact Magic is attached to a Barbarian, Fighter, Monk, or Rogue they only ever add the Spellcasting feature, never Pact Magic unfortunately.
Whenever either Spellcasting or Pact Magic is attached to a Bloodhunter, they only ever add the Pact Magic feature just like the Order of the Profane Soul subclass , never Spellcasting unfortunately.
Those features were hardcoded to the base classes that way.

Been a while since I attempted this, but last time I slapped Pact Magic on a non-Pact Magic class, as you've listed, they got 3rd-caster progression with slots that reset on short rests. lol
You know, I never actually tried it out on a character to see if they reset on a short rest or a long one. I just wish adding Pact Magic to a noncaster actually worked the same way Profane Soul does. 🤷♂️
