Hi I recently made a ranger with fizbans new drakewarden and saw that, as a feat, I can add a single dark gift, The echoing soul. However on a character that I had asked the gm previously, (before fizban came out) if I could use this gift and the older charater cannot access this feat. Any reason why I can only access this feat with the newer character?

I would like to add that I did make a newer copy of the older character and also leveled them to the same level, the feat still didn't show up

Dark gifts are not currently implemented on DDB; they must be homebrewed.  (But should not be published, they should stay private homebrew). I noticed as well that the two characters are in separate campaigns.  So the character that can access it is in a campaign where someone else has homebrewed it as a feat, whereas that has not happened in the other campaign.
