I cannot create my PC as you do not have the races from Volo's guide in the builder! Where are they? I'm finally playing a Character that I'm actually having fun with in 5E and I can't make it in your builder because its a Goblin. When are these items getting put in?

During the beta test of D&D Beyond, we'll only be including content that is freely available from Wizards of the Coast, including the D&D 5th edition SRD , D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, Elemental Evil Companion and potentially others. The beta will not include additional content from a Commercially Released Book, Module or Supplement.
All of the remaining published content from the PHB, DMG, MM and other D&D 5th edition books will be added to D&D Beyond for product release - the cost for accessing this material has not yet been announced.

Hey guys! here's half a product! it is probably going to cost hundreds of dollars for the additional content. i am sad. it better not cost too much for all the official content to be added in.
Oh yes, they would definitely pay all the licensing fees on top of the already existing server fees while making no money at the time. Great business model. Of course we'll have to pay for content. They have to pay WotC to have access to the content.
the forest gnome is missing this is part of the basic rules
The feature/subclass/race you are referring to is not part of the D&D 5th edition SRD and will need to be unlocked from the marketplace before you can use it on D&D Beyond.

To Add on to this post, under Gnomes in the basic rules, Forest Gnomes are missing.

I can't tell if people are actually kidding, just can't read or are just that overall inept.

D&D Beyond can be used for free and contains information from the following "free to use" sources published by Wizards of the Coast: D&D 5th edition SRD, D&D 5th edition Basic Rules, and Elemental Evil Companion.
Content from other sources, such as the Player's Handbook, Dungeon Master's Guide, or Monster Manual, will need to be purchased from the Marketplace or accessed via another user sharing content with you via their Master Tier Subscription.
is there a way to show proof of purchase I have the PH, volo's, and DMG in my lap right now
