The damage bonus for the FoTB attacks is calculated incorrectly on my character's sheet. My 3rd lvl Barbarian with 19 Str gets a +7 to damage to each of the three attack forms.
Allowing for the +4 bonus from strength, and the +2 rage bonus, I don't see where the extra point comes from. I customized the damage bonus down to +6, that being my expectation.
No need for that; i've accurately described the issue. Each of the attack forms appear as if they were modified via the customization utility, as if I went in and added a +3-damage bonus to each FoTB attack, which I did not. But there is one detail I left out; I have a Beyond 20 plugin extension enabled on D&D Beyond. I wonder if there is some interaction between the plugin and the json that makes up the information on the character sheet...
Yes, there is interaction between the Beyond20 plugin and the character sheet. Have you tried disabling the plugin temporarily to see if that's what causes the issue? (After you've removed the customization minus-bonus you did as a workaround.)
If turning off the plugin doesn't fix the problem, and you would someone here (like a mod) to take a look and tell you if there's anything that seems amiss, then please post the url to your character sheet. If you absolutely don't want anyone other than a staff member to look at it, make the character private; but ordinary forum members have been able to help plenty of people with the oddest bugs.
Edit: Actually, hang on... DDB doesn't add the Rage damage, since it's a temporary effect, so that's entirely added by Beyond20. Is it possible that you might have something that increases your Rage damage? Either way, someone would need to see if something else like an item or feat is changing things on your sheet.
Yah, D&D Beyond doesn't add the rage damage, as you say, since it's a temporary effect, even though the FoTB attacks can only occur on rage. At any rate, I think there is consensus that Beyond 20 is the culprit. Since I'm able to manually remove the erroneous bonus damage via 'Remove Customization', I'm not overly concerned. Just curious as to what was going on.
As further proof, and to naruhoodie's point, I experimentally re-created a version of the character on a device that doesn't have the plugin installed, and the numbers were as expected. So, beware of those plugins; you don't know where they've been. I'm going to pester the Beyond 20 people about it. Thanks all for the comments!
No need for that; i've accurately described the issue.
While you may have accurately described the issue, by providing a link to your character sheet, a member of the moderation team such as myself would be able to directly inspect the affected character and perform some key checks to try and identify if there is an issue.
If there is an issue, having a link to the character sheet gives us something we can escalate to the devs as part of a bug report.
Overall, it's good practice to provide a link to any character sheet that appears to be displaying issues

I stand rebuked. However, since this particular issue didn’t impede my ability to use the D&D Beyond tools, affect navigation within D&D Beyond, interact with Beyond 20, or prevent corrective action by removing the customization, I didn’t yet feel that broad scrutiny of my character was warranted.
Though I feel the character’s name and publicly available information isn’t offensive or violate ToS, others might disagree, and I wanted to avoid the possibility of offense or insult. If I could first describe the issue and get a quick turnaround via D&DB members, all the better. This was the case, as sounding out the issue drew my attention to the plugin. Next time, I’ll forgo posting via forum, open a ticket and provide the D&DB staff with the links and information required.

I would advise against going straight to customer services tickets, as that process isn't intended as a first port of call for bug resolution. If you do not wish to share the specifics of a character, you can just use the copy function and remove/change any content you deem unsuitable to share.
This will hopefully give you the quickest turn around on any issue resolution while avoiding consuming customer support bandwidth when it's not necessary

I can do that, with the hope that obfuscating the sheet’s data doesn’t affect reproduction of the issue. It’s not that I don’t wish to share the specifics of the character, but whether it’s appropriate for public consumption. It may be easier just to make the character private, and then share the link, as was previously offered.
I can't speak for everyone, but I know I would not be upset about anything that you have on a character that you are sharing a link with that has an issue on it. As far as I am concerned, and I'm sure many others would agree, what is on that character is between you and the people you play with. I, or anyone else, would simply be looking for the reasons Davyd mentioned above.

Glad the issue got resolved.
Many would, as would I; I’m salty enough to ignore or tolerate questionable content. But this is a broad public forum, so one can’t be too careful. If everyone was as cool and tolerant as the participants of this thread, there’d be no need for ToS. Alas, there is, so I try to be a good actor in such matters.

Can you attach a link to your character sheet so someone, potentially myself, can look at it?
