did i miss something? first time here, but i started making a half elf rogue and under skills it says i can choose persuasion. however, it doesnt appear in the lists. tried reloading class and page but its still not there. so persuasion isnt coming up on any class, guess its a bug
If a specific skill doesn't show up, it's because your character already has proficiency in that skill, possibly from the race (or background if you already selected that).
My character (rogue) is *not* proficient in persuasion, and I can't select it as either a rogue skill proficiency or a custom background skill proficiency...
Post the url to your character sheet so someone can take a look.
Is it possible that your character's race gets proficiency in Persuasion, or has a Feat that gave the proficiency?

ive checked in every class and persuasion doesnt come up in the selectable skill lists

Whoops, looks like I was too late deleting my post! Yeah, it was. I had an elf. Duh.
It's Perception not Persuasion that Elves get, but yeah, you're not the first person to get caught by that. Tabaxi players new to DDB run into it too.
