On my campaign, me and another person has made characters and in the campaign screen, on our characters it says "No Race Selected" but if you open the character sheet part, it shows you have the race you wanted picked.
Can you post a link to the characters so a Mod can look at it?
The only thing I could think is that you picked a race, but not a subrace.
For example, if you chose Elf, but not what kind of elf. Doing that wouldn't let you actually have a finished character. You need to pick the specific type of each race you'd want to be.
I wonder if this may be related to a current issue affecting some users, where certain characters may not appear at all when trying to join a campaign. These users have had luck creating copies of the affected characters and joining with those copies — I'm curious if the same workaround might help in this case?

"Play the game however you want to play the game. After all, your fun doesn't threaten my fun."
No I tried it with races that don't have subraces
