I have already bought the base books and an adventure book as physical copies. I would buy more but I don't want to buy the base stuff I already have, I am not rich so is there a way that out past loyalty could be recognized.
Nope. ISBN numbers aren’t unique per copy, so that’s a not an option. this has, quite frankly, been discussed to death here. With the Dragonlance book they are trying a digital physical bundle, but the savings isn’t all that great in the US, and most places outside of the US it will actually be cheaper to buy separately due to shipping costs.
your options are:
-not use DDB
-use only the material available for free on DDB
-Homebrew what you need on DDB, since you have the books
-buy the elements you need (subclasses, spells, monsters, etc) a la carte
-buy whole “books” here
the buyers guide in my signature walks through a number of purchase options, including homebrewing instead of purchasing
