Have you purchased either Wayfinder's Guide to Eberron or Ebberon: Rising from the Last War here? If not, have you purchased an artificer subclass from one of those books?
If you haven't purchased it AND you are not in a campaign with content sharing turned on in which someone else has purchased it, you won't have access to the Artificer.
Thats dumb we come to this sight to have all our characters put online to make it easy to keep track of them we shouldnt have to pay for manuals we can find for free anywhere else we should be able to build our characters freely with out any restraints

Please be advised that any information outside of the Basic Rules that is "found for free" elsewhere is considered piracy and is therefore illegal.
So i am hosting a campaign in which one of my players has all the official content, we both have content sharing activated BUT i still cannot access artificer.

Help?
Thanks :)
Is the character in question n the campaign in which your player is also? I’m confused about “we both have content sharing activated.” Only one person can activate content sharing per campaign. Whichever one of you it is should turn sharing off and then back on. You might also both check your entitlements (see my signature)
No. Buying any one of the artificer subclasses gains you access to the class as a whole. Buying artificer iniitate gains you just the feat. Not even any of the spells associated with the feat.

I do not see a way to purchase the artificer class individually, where can I find it?
The artificer subclasses are now purchaseable standalone from Tasha's. Purchasing any subclass unlocks the base class.

Shayone | Hobgoblin | Sorcerer | Netherdeep
So I know I'm a little late, but buying the Artificer Initiate would give me access to the Artificer class?

Gotcha. I’m a new DM and one of my players wants to play an artificer and I’m trying to get everyone on the app so it’s more convenient lol. Thanks.
