If I keep all my coin in my Equipment section (and do not have Ignore Coin Weight toggled on) the coins adds to my weight as expected. However, if I add coins in another container such as my backpack or a pouch, the coins do not contribute to the weight of neither the container itself (which should be filling up) nor my character's total weight (assuming I've got the container equipped).
It would be great to fix this, so that we can properly make use of the feature.
Unlikely to be fixed as exceptionally few people care and easily worked-around, so extremely low not-even-on-radar priority.
You can make a custom item labelled "Coin Weight" and enter the weight. It only accepts whole numbers but then that shouldn't be an issue. Every 50 coins, add 1. Easy enough.
Worth noting it does tell you that Coin-In-Containers is still in Beta.

As described in the title.
